Regular Versus Irregular Plural Nouns

Regular plural nouns:

Using the general rule of adding -s, or -es to a singular noun.

Examples: dog --> dogs ; class --> classes

Irregular plural nouns:

NOT using the general rule of regular plural nouns. Irregular plural nouns can vary and usually have more obvious spelling changes - or none at all!

Examples: fish --> fish ; leaf --> leaves
